VRR (Variable Refresh Rate) now has an optional FPS cap you can set per game.
Some games tie their internal logic to the frame rate. For example, Tears of the
Kingdom's weapon-menu cursor becomes unusable when VRR lets the game run at ~200 fps.
You can now cap those games (e.g. to 60) while keeping G-Sync/FreeSync smoothing, and
leave other games unbounded.
How to use: Settings → System → VSync = VRR, then choose a VRR FPS cap
(Off / 30 / 60 / 120). It is saved per game.
This also fixes a bug where VRR could lock the frame rate to ~1 fps on some games.
Note: VRR follows the frame rate your game produces — it does not raise a game's own frame-rate cap.
The VSync dropdown is now Switch / Unbounded / VRR; the old experimental
"custom refresh rate" slider has been folded into the cleaner VRR cap picker.
Builds on v1.1.2 and v1.1 (4K HD texture pack support + VRR mode).
